In the book Animal Farm, i think that i would most be like Snowball, I think that because I would be a good leader with ideas to better the farm. I would also follow the Seven Commandments they made. I also think that if another person like Napoleon came with the dogs I would stay away. But i wouldn't do wahat all of the other animals said that Snowball did.

Control Or No Control
Control can be a good or a bad thing. But sometimes you can't decide if you have control or not. Some things you don't have control over is your parents. They can pretty much tell you what to do and you have to, or get in trouble. Or, if you are arguing with them, they are going to think they are right no matter what. And they will win because they have that power.
If you have control it can be good, everyone likes getting their way. you can use it responsibly and help people. But if you do have it, it can be bad too. Some people can get crazy with power and don't respect anyone or anything. My parents are in control, they are in charge of me. If i had power, i don't think that i would do anything mad.

Poetry
Part One: 1.) Keeping Things Whole by Mark Strand. 2.) Learning to Swim by Bob Hicok. 3.) The Bloody Sire by Robinson Jeffers. 4.) A Boat Beneath a Sunny Sky by Lewis Carroll and November Cotton Flower by Jean Toomer. Part Two:
1.) I liked A Boat Beneath a Sunny Sky and Learning to Swim. I liked how the first one talks about Alice in Wonderland as the story the children hear. I liked the second one because of how he talks about the lifeguard.
2.) I don't really like number three because it about a lot of violence.
3.) If i had to choose one it would be A Boat Beneath a Sunny Sky by Lewis Carroll.
4.) I liked this poem because of how someone could imagine being told the story of Alice in Wonderland like the kids in the story.
Part Three:
1.) Accuracy and Voice and Articulation.
2.) Dramatic Appropriateness and Physical Presence, because they are more with body language and not just the poetry.
3.) When scoring someone you have to consider all of the things that they are doing. Eye contact, poise, volume, all of them play a role.
Part Four:
1.) The first poem I watched was Pied Beauty by Gerard Manly Hopkins. The performance was successful because of the speakers tone and how she didn't get lost in the colorful language. She also has confidence.
2.) The second poem I watched was The Man-Moth by Elizabeth Bishop. The speaker was successful because he has confidence and he goes through the poem smoothly.
Part Five:
1.) I think, after spending time on the website poetry out loud, that the competition is going to have a lot of people struggling because how hard some poems are. I chose A Boat Beneath a Sunny Sky because it was interesting to me. The website is good if you want to know about poetry.
